I’m so tired and covered with a constellation of tiny tooth marks but there is nothing sweeter than this tiny warm creature asleep on my chest… I never thought I was going to be that person with all the dog photos on their social media… and yetttttt… that face.

in other news, I made this ridiculously delicious gluten-free key lime tart from #theyellowtable last night for some of my nearest and dearest and it blew our socks off. picture from the site because mine was not nearly so pretty. my cooking always looks a little disheveled, but i am beginning to accept that this may be part of my style. thank you @annawatsoncarl for this wonderful recipe! so easy! (If you want to find it, is on the yellow table site under desserts). For me, the key (brrrrffttt no pun intended) was fresh-squeezed lime, which took a few extra minutes but made my hands smell great, and really good graham crackers, because some gluten-free stuff tastes like cardboard. I used Pamela’s cinnamon Graham’s. oh and it took three of us, but we made hand-whipped cream (with a whisk- hello carpal tunnel!) with a dash of maple syrup and it was 👌🏻

I have such a hard time relaxing, i feel like i have to run run run all the time because my brain thinks it’s a hamster… (doing a major meditation class tonight for that very reason)… sitting back and reading a magazine feels downright decadent. but today I’ve given in to the holiday spirit and it’s deliciously worth it @thevioletbook ❤️❤️🌸🌸 @leithclark

YESSSSSSS!!! @nrdc_org ・・・ BREAKING: Scott Pruitt just resigned from the EPA! Here is what NRDC President @rheasuh had to say, “Ethics matter. So does a commitment to EPA’s central mission. Scott Pruitt failed miserably on both counts. If his successor also puts the interests of polluters ahead of protecting public health and the environment, he or she will encounter the same wall of resistance — and meet the same fate.”
