continue to be shaken and heartbroken by what happened in Paris… as I know we all are… for so many reasons. to see a city so rich with love, history, art, culture and beauty suddenly rent with such overpowering hatred and violence. I was there only three weeks ago. I was in love with everything I saw, it was the most magical place. there’s something so particularly unsettling- this could have been any of us, just sitting in a cafe or watching a show. for me, as a musician, it’s particularly harrowing, when usually the worst thing you can imagine when stepping onstage is that you’ll have crappy sound or an audience that doesn’t like you… something like this would have been unimaginable, and yet is now unforgettable… my heart goes out to the families of the victims and their loved ones. taking a moment to send all of you out there reading this a little bit of love. life is precious, and you never quite know how long you’re going to get, so please be courageous, and take steps towards the life you dream of leading. let’s encourage each other, support each other, be kind to each other, help each other… #Paris, you are in my heart.
