she taught me how to sing from the belly, the heart, the deepest soul. I saw her play once, and I’ve never seen someone play the **** out of a piano like that. and that voice…. like lightning and earth and the collective spirit of all women rolled into one. she was a true talent, a force of nature. it feels surreal, to lose someone you’ve never known, and feel the loss as if you did… thank you, Ms. Franklin, for all that you gave us. you will be dearly missed. ❤️❤️❤️ #arethafranklin
