This Thanksgiving, my heart keeps returning to Standing Rock, as history seems to be repeating itself… To the beautiful people there, true guardians of the land and water, nature is still sacred. And so it should be for all of us, as this land is home to us all. There is so much we can learn from them, if we could stop for a moment and listen to their tradition, their voices, their wisdom. I am deeply thankful that they are there, protesting peacefully and tirelessly against great opposition, to protect the water, the land and future generations to come.
